NaaS Pricing Tool

Ballpark your NaaS price before talking to anyone.

Set your footprint below for a realistic monthly Network as a Service estimate. Providers bill per square foot (like Meter), per user (like Nile), or per access point, and this calculator prices all three. Treat it as a ballpark, then an advisor can pressure-test it against real quotes.

Billing model

Typical market range $2,860$3,640 · ≈ 0.13 $/sq ft
Billed per access point instead, this footprint quotes around $3,850/mo.

vs. owning it yourself (5-yr lifecycle)
NaaS subscription$3,250/mo
DIY monthly equivalent$3,212/mo
Hardware (amortized)Install & cablingLicenses & supportIT staff time
At this footprint DIY pencils out cheaper on paper, but that excludes downtime risk and refresh surprises. An advisor can pressure-test both paths.

Estimates based on published market rates and Bridgepointe deal data. DIY assumes $70,000 in hardware + installation amortized over a 5-year refresh cycle, 18%/yr support contracts, and network ops staff time. Your exact quote depends on site survey and scope.

NaaSAdvisor draws on the broader advisory experience of Bridgepointe Technologies, which has advised 12,000+ mid-market and enterprise companies over 20+ years. That deal exposure is what keeps this estimate grounded in what networks actually cost, and an independent advisor can validate your number at no cost and with no obligation.

Behind the estimate

What each input does to your estimate

Every slider and toggle above maps to a real cost lever on a NaaS quote. Here is how moving each one changes the number, and why providers weigh them the way they do. For the full economics, models, ranges, and where the dollars come from, see the pricing guide.

  • Square footage. The baseline driver under per-square-foot billing. More area means more coverage, switching, and cabling, though the per-foot rate often eases as your total footprint grows.
  • Employees on the network. Headcount sizes the network under per-user billing and signals density. Lots of people in a tight space pushes capacity, and the estimate, upward.
  • Access points. AP count is the lever under per-device billing and tracks Wi-Fi demand. Dense, high-traffic spaces need more access points, which raises the per-month figure.
  • Service tier. Essentials covers wired, Wi-Fi, and support. Premium layers in security, cellular failover, and tighter SLAs. The added capability lifts the rate meaningfully.
  • Contract length. Longer commitments lower the monthly rate; shorter terms cost more per month for the flexibility. The 1, 3, and 5-year toggle reflects that trade directly.
  • Locations. Each additional site can add a per-location base fee, often offset by volume discounts on the per-unit rate as your total footprint scales.

What you are pricing

What a typical NaaS subscription includes

The estimate assumes a managed package, not just hardware. Most NaaS subscriptions bundle the core below into one monthly fee, with the security and connectivity edges varying by provider. See the full standard-vs-optional breakdown for the details.

  • Provider-owned hardware. Switches and Wi-Fi access points the provider owns, installs, and refreshes across the term, so there is no upfront equipment purchase.
  • Design, install, and management. Site survey, configuration, turn-up, and a cloud dashboard for visibility across every location.
  • Monitoring, support, and updates. 24/7 monitoring, support with defined response times, and ongoing firmware and software updates.
  • Usually add-on. Advanced security, internet/ISP management, SD-WAN, cellular failover, and guaranteed uptime SLAs often sit outside the base, which is partly why the Premium tier reads higher here.

Getting the most from it

Use the calculator, or talk to an advisor

Use the calculator when you want to

  • Size a budget or build a quick business case before involving any vendor
  • See how square footage, headcount, tier, or term move the monthly number
  • Sanity-check a quote you already have against typical market ranges
  • Compare per-square-foot, per-user, and per-AP billing on the same footprint

Talk to an advisor when you need to

  • Turn a ballpark into real, scoped quotes from competing providers
  • Sort out multi-site, security, or connectivity requirements the slider can't capture
  • Pressure-test NaaS against owning the gear on your exact footprint
  • Negotiate term, tier, and add-ons without a vendor sales pitch

Common questions

NaaS pricing calculator FAQ

How accurate is this estimate?

It is a directional ballpark, not a quote. The tool applies real billing logic to your inputs and sets a typical market range around the result, which is close enough to size a budget or sanity-check a proposal. Your exact number still depends on a site survey, your scope, and the provider you choose.

What is the estimate based on?

Published market rates plus the patterns we see in Bridgepointe deal data, applied across per-square-foot, per-user, and per-access-point models. We keep the figures directional on purpose so the estimate reflects the broad market rather than any single vendor's price sheet. See the full pricing guide →

Why would real provider quotes differ from this?

Providers price differently and bundle different things. Two quotes for the same network can vary on billing model, what security and connectivity are included, SLA tier, and how multi-site fees are handled. The calculator gives you the middle of the market; a quote reflects one provider's specific package. See what's included vs. optional →

Is the tool free, and will someone contact me?

The calculator is free and runs entirely in your browser. When analytics is enabled, we record which calculator controls are used, but never the slider values. No one will contact you unless you choose to call or request a review. Advisory itself is funded by the providers, never the client.
