Meraki says a SKU absent from its official register has not yet had its end-of-sale and end-of-support announcement. Always check the current vendor register; absence from this page alone is not a support guarantee. The vMX100 row is a virtual appliance, not a physical MX100 or the newer vMX-S/M/L products.
MX67C and MX68CW have their own timeline.
The cellular SKUs in Cisco’s MX67C / MX68CW bulletin (PDF) reach end of sale on November 27, 2026 and last support on November 30, 2031. This notice applies to the listed C and CW variants; do not apply it to the noncellular MX67, MX67W, MX68 or MX68W.
Software maintenance ends before final support. The same bulletin lists November 27, 2027 for the end of software maintenance releases, February 27, 2031 for service-contract renewals, and November 30, 2031 for vulnerability/security support. A 2031 support date does not promise new features through 2031.
Cisco names C8111-C-G2-MX as the migration product for MX67C and C8121-CW-G2-MX for MX68CW. Treat these as the bulletin’s starting points: confirm cellular carrier support, region, interfaces, licensing and capacity before selecting a replacement.
Several older MX models stop at MX 18.1.
Meraki’s firmware restrictions table lists these maximum runnable branches. A branch ceiling is not a recommended patch version or a promise of continued fixes after end of support.

A newer version selected for a network or template does not mean every appliance runs it. Meraki explains that the affected legacy models remain on a supported MX 18.1 build when a template moves to MX 18.2 or later. Check the appliance’s actual running version and release notes. A license term and a hardware lifespan are separate.
Check the appliance’s lifecycle date alongside the licensing model and expiration shown in your organization. Meraki documents co-termination, per-device and subscription licensing; renewal and migration details depend on the model in use. Ask for a quote that clearly identifies the replacement appliance, edition and license term.
Do not assume a longer license purchases extra hardware warranty. Meraki’s warranty and EOL guidance defines product lifetime as ending at EOST. Confirm coverage and any replacement entitlement before committing to a renewal.
Build a migration plan before the support deadline.
Check both appliances in a high-availability pair. Inventory the model, license, firmware and WAN connections for each site. Include cellular backup, wireless and PoE requirements when those functions are built into the retiring MX.
Validate the traffic and policies you depend on. Size for security inspection, VPN traffic, client count and WAN capacity. Plan a cutover that tests Auto VPN, remote access, VLANs, routing, firewall rules and failover, with a rollback window.

Meraki MX end of life, answered
When does Meraki MX84 support end?
MX84-HW reaches end of support on October 31, 2026. Its end-of-sale date was October 31, 2021.
When do MX64 and MX64W reach end of support?
MX64-HW and MX64W-HW reach end of support on July 26, 2027. Both are restricted to the MX 18.1 firmware branch.
Is the MX65 still supported?
MX65-HW and MX65W-HW reached end of support on May 28, 2026, according to Meraki’s current register.
When does Meraki MX100 reach end of support?
The physical MX100-HW reaches end of support on February 1, 2027. The separate vMX100 virtual appliance has a December 22, 2027 end-of-support date.
Are MX67 and MX68 being discontinued?
The August 2026 notice covers the specified MX67C and MX68CW cellular SKUs. It lists end of sale on November 27, 2026 and last support on November 30, 2031. Do not apply that notice to the noncellular MX67, MX67W, MX68 or MX68W.
Can MX64, MX84 or MX100 run MX 18.2?
No. Meraki restricts MX64/W, MX65/W, MX84, MX100 and vMX100 to MX 18.1. A newer network or template firmware selection does not remove that device limitation.
Does renewing the license extend the hardware warranty past EOST?
Do not assume that it does. Meraki defines hardware product lifetime as ending at the product’s end-of-support date. Confirm the appliance’s lifecycle, warranty and license entitlement separately before renewing.
